The Vermont Chamber of Commerce Webinar Series

Our goal is to promote members to our statewide membership of 1,500 buisnesses from Bennington to Newport for contacts and increased business. To accomplish this, the Vermont Chamber of Commerce has created a series of webinars that cover a broad range of business issues. Each webinar is hosted by a Vermont Chamber of Commerce member and focuses on their area of expertise. Webinars generally run about 30 minutes. The format begins with the presenter discussing their topic followed by a question and answer session. Participants are encouraged to ask questions about issues that affect their business.

Our webinar series is another benefit of membership, and if you have a topic that you would like to see addressed, please contact Chris Carrigan at (802) 223-0904 or e-mail him at ccarrigan@vtchamber.com.

Global Warming/Climate Change

Has there been a subject that has been more discussed over the last year? Conflicting information abounds as to its cause and as to what is economically and socially feasible to solve this condition. The National Center for Policy Analysis has published "A Global Warming Primer" that gives a brief and concise review of the issue. It is attached as a .pdf file. It can be accessed by clicking here: globalWarmingPrimer.pdf.
